Who May Apply: Girls in the 6th – 8th grade who have leadership potential and can keep a long-term commitment.

Academy Duration: September – May of each year.

Registration Fee: $50.00 due upon confirmation of acceptance into the IMAGE Leadership Academy.

Academy Description:  The IMAGE Leadership Academy equips girls with tools to master the primary task of coping with their emotional and physical development.  It creates an atmosphere where they feel safe sharing their feelings to gain new insight and knowledge. The interactive Academy provides girls with positive support and direction at a vulnerable time in their lives when they are easily misguided and highly susceptible to making wrong choices; and trying new things because of their body changes and new emotions.

"Image is Everything is the main focus." Using a creative approach, girls become entrepreneurs and Chief Executive Officers (CEO) of their dreams. They set goals and participate in other personalized empowering activities to map a plan to achieve their dreams.  With more work and more focus, students’ academic skills grow and this growth will show up in improved standardized test scores.
